OUR STORY
RetroMusicRadio™ began as an independent radio program hosted by local radio personality Erick Jones and singer-songwriter Tim Battig.
Originally airing Sunday mornings from 1999 to 2001 on KCLA 99.3 FM Los Angeles, the show quickly gained a devoted audience with its unique mix of Classic and Modern Rock, music news, and in-depth artist and celebrity interviews.
The show’s personality was enriched by a rotating team of vibrant co-hosts including comedienne Brandy Nightingale, Amy Jacobson,
Leslie Robinson, and The Waterboy.
Following its initial broadcast success, RetroMusicRadio™ transitioned to digital, streaming exclusively on its own RetroMusicNetwork™ channel via Live365.com until 2002.
Over 120 broadcasts were produced from Erick and Tim’s home studio in Los Angeles, capturing the spirit of the era while showcasing emerging and established artists.
