RetroMusicRadio™ was as an American independent web radio program produced and hosted by local DJ/radio personality Erick Jones, and singer-songwriter Tim Battig in Los Angeles, California. It originally aired Sunday mornings on KCLA 99.3 FM Los Angeles, from May 1999 to October 2001 and quickly gained a devoted audience with its unique mix of Classic, Alternative and Indie Rock, musical and celebrity guests, and special feature concert broadcasts.
The show’s personality was enriched by a rotating team of vibrant co-hosts including comedienne Brandy Nightingale, Amy Jacobson, Leslie Robinson and The Waterboy.
Following its initial broadcast success, RetroMusicRadio™ transitioned to digital, streaming exclusively on its own RetroMusicNetwork™ channel via Live365.com until 2002.
Over 120 broadcasts were produced from Erick and Tim’s home studio in Los Angeles, capturing the spirit of the era while showcasing emerging and established artists.
